Video Card Compatability

I'm building my first system, and I've done a LOT of reading and can only
take in so much. And I'm not about to go and read everything all over again
just to have this small question answered, so I was hoping to get the answer
here.

When choosing a video card; is thier any compatibility issues with the video
card and the writer of the firmware for the mobo?

More specifically, I'm looking to buy an ASUS NVIDIA nForce4 mobo. Is thier
anything I should know with regards to this other than compatability w/ my CPU and power supply?

When your picking out a video card, all you need to look for is that its the right slot (PCI, AGP, PCI-E), and that your Power Supply meets the minimum requirements.
