I am trying to set up a computer to drive my 42 LCD television and I am trying to find a video card I can install in a emachines t3642 machine. Not sure if its possible to get a hdmi output from this machine . any comments?

I am just trying to use it to watch television from the internet...Hulu for example. any ideas of what the cost would be to convert my existing machine...I may have another power supply I can rob from another machine....have any low end card recommendations for the video card? I don't have anything else added to this machine what size power supply do I need?

With the grafix card i listed it will work on a 250watt psu. What are the specs of you psu in the machine?

What is the...
wattage
amperage(12v rail)

Thats all thats needed don't worry about the other numbers.

another question. Will this type card allow me to keep my computer monitor connected & still drive the HDMI output to my Television or is the output either one or the other?

That 300 watt psu will do for the 4350.

Uhh, with hdmi used with vga/dvi, i cant say i know because i have never tried it before, sorry man, but i know you can do dvi and vga and have 2 screen, of course it would have to be mirrored, but it still works. Thats just something your either have to research or test out for youself.

Thanks. I will use the pc primarily as a desktop machine & occassionally as a viewer of Hulu on my television. Was hoping its a simple matter to switch in between. I order the vido card so I guess I will find out soon.
