Hi Everyone,
Any one can tell me if any Video card out there can put in this OLD computer that can run 2 monitors?

I have this OLD Gateway desktop computer 508GE come with Pentium 4 550 processor and 300watts PSU, I am looking a low power GPU that can run without change the PSU, I don't do gaming. just surf the web and open some streaming programs. I need to run dual monitors, I am try to upgrade the Ram to 4gb and a dedicated video card, hope it give me another 12 month service before I build a new computer.

Anyone can suggest a card that is small (half or 3 quarter length?) or high? The main board has a capacitor which is in the way for a full length board. The main board is Intel D915GAG.
Thanks.

How are you plugging in the monitors? Dvi, hdmi, vga? Any dedicated card, it would be best to get a new PSU, but if you want to risk it, that's your choice.

I'm asking the choices you have. If the two monitors you have are both vga, then you'll need a dvi to vga convertor. A graphics card will usually have three outputs, dvi, vga, and hdmi. If your monitors you support both, then you're fine. A AMD 6450video could run two monitors easy, as long as you're not gaming. Still recommend a new psu, though.
