Video Card For HDTV?

I have a VGA to Component cable (no transcoder). I really want to avoid purchasing a transcoder cuz i'm jus that cheap . The video card in the PC i want to connect to my HDTV has a Nvidia MX4000 Lite in it now. I really think i should upgrade. My question though; are there any video cards available that have the capability to output component video through the VGA output??? And if not, is there a way i could make the display visible through S-video on computer startup? Thanks in advance.

Why do you need to use component output? Shouldn't your HDTV have a VGA input?

No. Mine's one of the cheaper CRT widescreen ones. it has only 1 component with 3 composite inputs w/ S-Video.
