I need a high-quality card for photoshopping photos and watching DVDs. Since gaming will not be a priority, which card would anyone recommend for these stated purposes? Thanks in advance.

I will post the set-up as it is coming along later next week. Does'nt look too shabby so far. Stay tuned!!!!:D

Well we need to know what graphics card interphase your motherobard have? PCI, AGP or PCI-E? Also, what's your budget for this card?

The 6200 might be a good choice. I hear it's got some decent decoding capabilities, and some have both SVHS and RCA output right on the card(rather than additional cables or breakout boxes)

These are for AGP and PCI-e

I would almost say integrated graphics would sufice for photoshopping and watching DVDs... but then again, integrated graphics are evil :D

Agreed ;P That's why I suggested the 6200. I think onboard would be ok, but at least this way you get TV-Out, duel-view, and you don't use your system's RAM(at least not untill you need over 64M)

The mobo is...

The DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR. I have no idea what the specs are as I will be getting it on Monday, but this is the one I will be using.

I guess I'm looking at no more than $200 bucks, but I would go up to $300 if it will mean a radical improvement.
