I built a computer for video editing. I cheaped out on a video card! I would like some ideas for an upgrade.

I will be using the Adobe suite for editing on a 55" lcd.
It needs to be HDCP compatable

Motherboard: P8P67 EVO
CPU: i7 2600k
Memory: 16GB G.Skill RAM
Graphics: Radeon HD 5770 1GB
Sound: Auzentech X-FI Hometheater HD
Primary Hard drive: Intel 510 SSD
Power: CORSAIR Professional Series AX750
OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Video editting is dependant more on processing power than gfx unless of course your planning on doing 3d modeling in your videos. Your good with your i7 since you will be doing a lot of rendering and importing, exporting, etc.

If your not planning on playing games with this computer i suggest looking at workstation graphic cards. I cant give you an exact Product because i am not home right now. But when i get back i will look one up

Are you experiencing any lag or any performance hits while editing video?

Like explorerD said, if you're not using 3D modeling, there would be no advantage for a more powerful video card.
