video card for windows aero

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Intel 915 chipset. It shows 128 memory, yet Windows Aero won't run what do I do?

The amount of memory has nothing to do with the power of the card or the ability to run Windows Aero. I don't think that video card can display Areo...

Apparently, you may be able to with updated drivers. Check into that...

Vista Aero requires a DX9 or better video card, which the Intel 915 is not.

I read mixed reviews about it being supported. It probably isn't, but apparently some new driver was going to support it. Perhaps DX9 emulation?

How much RAM do you have... doesn't Vista require 512MB minimum?

vista does require 512 minimum but if u buy the vista Ultimate i think u need at least 1 gig

I don't think the version matters, I might be wrong. I think it depends on what settings you want to run it at. 1GB is the suggested RAM.
