Hi i have a dell optiplex gx 270 that was given to me. The computer has i think ? two video cards one in the agp slot a dell ATI radeon ve 64mb dell part #9t688 and another in the pci slot a nvidia quadro nvs 280 pci my question is should the two be in there do thay work together and if not witch one should i remove i would like to keep the better card in if one has to come out. My 6 year old son will use it for some light gaming .Also the card that the monitor is hooked up to right now is the nvidia . p.s. as u can tell im not to computer savy. thanks for any help you might give me Mr C

Might as well pull the Quattro. It's not a gaming card, so it's just being wasted in there. No point in using up more power, created heat, and such. But either way, it should be fine to have both in there.

Oh, and they don't work together unless you do something like a multi-monitor setup, where the ATI card's driving one display and the Nvidia's driving the other. But it wouldn't give you more perfomance in games or anything to have them both in.
