Video Card Help

I am going to upgrade my video card to a nvida 6600GT, I would like to know how much FPS its gets on games like Half-Life 2, Battle Field 2, and Doom 3. Is the 6600 a good choice or should I upgrade to a 6800GT?
 
I hope you dont mean fo from a 6600GT to a 6600, lol.

I wouldnt upgrade to a 6800GT, i would upgrade to a 7800/7900GT since you will notice alot more performance.
 
Yes I did mean the 6600GT lol. Well the 7600GT is kinda outside my budget so do you think I should just upgrade to the 6800GT? Or if you have any other alternatives please tell me. Thanks in advance.

Good choice. As i said in the first post, i dont think you will see a huge improvement, especially for the price difference.
