I don't know anything about video cards and such, so i figured i would ask on here. I have a dell desktop, and some things make it slow. for example, if i am watching a video on youtube, it wont let me change tabs while the movie is playing. i have to pause it. Some ads on myspace wont let me scroll. sometimes it will let me. just little stuff like that. and if a page has a lot of flashy ads, it wont let me scroll. occasionally photoshop is slow due to graphics and such. is this a video card problem?

That's more of a processor or RAM issue...well, lack of both. The computer's probably getting some age on it, or there's too much running in the background causing it to bog down. Typical spyware scans(Adaware and Spybot S&D) and perhaps Hijackthis scan(post the log here) is in order.
Plus computer spec. would help.
i know it isnt ram, i have 2.5 gb's. i was thinking it was more of a video car problem, cause my old computer did this, and would actually freeze when you would open a large video like file.(the one i had mainly used to set it off was google earth) as for specs, go here. i have the small mini computer
