Hi all! I would like to know how to fix a pronlem. My computer understands my video card as this: Chip Type, Dac type, memory size...EVERYTHING IS <unavailable>. I tried to reinstall the driver but nothing works. The driver that im using is called Vgasave. How can i fix this so that i can use my 256Mb video to its fullest?

Thanks,

Apparently vgasave is a windows driver put in place when you vid card or drivers are not working. Do NOT disable this option as it is likely on reboot your system will have no fallback driver and will display no picture.

You need to find out what kind of video card you have to load the right driver. install this and see if it tells you

I have a Geforce Fx FX5500 256mb card. I already disabled it once, and i couldnt see anything. I had to run a windows repair disk. Thanks for the warning, but its ok now. After i installed the driver, it still loads the Vgasave driver. Any other idea's? Maybe reinstall windows? (last resort)
