Video Card Question?

I need a better video card than what I have now, for this game I want to get. I went to system requirements lab and it said I needed a GeForce3 Ti 200 + / Radeon 8500+. I found this one the net a NVIDIA GeForce3 TI 64MB 200 Graphics Card with DVI/VGA. Would that work? I have a Compaq Presario sr5210nx.

No, the Geforce3 Ti series is AGP and that computer is PCI-Express. As far as I can tell you have an open PCI-Express slot so just about any video card available today would work. I don't know your budget, but something like a Geforce 7600GT would work fine, and I feel quite sure the power supply could handle it.

My budget is low for now. What is the cheapest vid card that I can get for the game Fable the Lost Chapters

Min. Requirements.
Microsoft® Windows® XP
PC with 1.4 GHz equivalent or higher processor
256 MB of system RAM
3 GB available hard disk space
32x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
64 MB shader capable video card required
Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

My comp can run all of this but the vid card is to low to work for this game. I am also running on Vista.

ATi Radeon 7500 64MB VGA PCI Video Card

Would this work on my comp and would this be enough to run Lost Chapters?

Why does everyone suggest the 8600GT as a low budget card? its the same thing as the 7600GT only it has DirectX 10, at least thats the way i see it..

I would though suggest a 8500GT

Lost Chapters requires a 64 MB shader capable video card. Would the ATi Radeon 7500 64MB VGA PCI work? I thinks it would, but I want to make sure. Also can my computer support it?

Dont go near a 8500 card THEY SUCK BAD. The 8600 is not the same as a 7600 relative to its "family". The 7600 is a fast mid-range card closer to the 9600 relative to its family. The 8600 is poo for gaming.
