Hey i got an IBM ThinkCentre 8183 P4 3.2 GHz 1GB Ram (i dont know if this is useful or not so i just give it)

There is an integrated video card in the motherboard which is not really good only 90 MB of VRAM im expecting more than this so im planning to buy a new video card, graphic card or whatever the exact name is...the inside of my computer dont seem to let me have a video card (All i see is 2 PCI Slots)

I saw my friends new video card and it dont seem to be fitting in my computer its really big...!

my question is; is there any video card in the PCI format (like a soundcard or network adapter) that can actually fit in my computer?

Thanks in advance!:)

Of course there are PCI graphics cards available, the problem with those is the limited bandwidth of the PCI bus, which means that even the most powerful PCI cards out there probably won't be powerful enough to meet your expectations... what's the computer used for?

mostly used to play small games but the video card i got right now is really cheap thats why we cant play games at all so i need to know what is the best PCI Vcard out there? and will i see a difference?

You can get like a 6200- FX 5500- 9250- 2400pro- x1550 or X1300 but there not going to be all that great. But will probable be better than your onboard.

You can get lower end AGP cards just as cheap. They still tend to make more higher end AGP cards. But AGP is on its last legs too. PCIe is the name of the game now. PCIe has already gone through 1.0- 1.1- 1.1a- 2.0 and now they are working on PCIe 3.0

No, the bottom white and red slots are PCI and the top slot is a PCIe X16 slot, the 2 short slots are PCIe X1 slots
