Video card question

I have this video card in my new machine that I just put together (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143090&Tpk=bfg+tech+7950). It came with a converter that plugs into the s-video and goes to HDTV... I was wondering if there is anything like that but to simply convert to component cables, or would this not make a difference because the quality of the output would already be limited by the s-video?

unfortunately the S-video output isnt all that great. its fine for media, but it makes it difficult to see smaller fonts on larger TVs. They make a DVI to HDMI converter like this

whichever you want. i personally have never used one (i use my xbox360 to stream media to my TV from my PC) but i have heard they work very well

I have a DVI to HDMI cable. The quality is great!I played Half-Life 2.Some of the best graphics I had ever seen!If you are connecting your PC to your HDTV you really should buy one of those cables.S video to component wouldn't be that great only offering the quality of the S video cable (which isn't too good). It's worth the 8$ for one of those DVI to HDMI cables.
