Video Card Specs

I was just wondering... to all of you who have any idea about Video Cards, I want to put a new on in my computer I dont know why just some need I have for my computer to be the best it can be!
I was just wondering what specs I should be looking for in a good video card?

What are the rest of the specs? (processor, RAM, etc)

Do you know if you have PCI, AGP or a PCI-E video expansion slot?
