I am thinking of either getting a 4670 or a 4650, Would the 4670 work on my psu?

420 watt no name atx psu, i no, the effeciency is probably really crappy, but would it be enough to power up either of these cards?

BTW: can anyone lnk me to that thread, that psted the amperages for video cards, i can;t find it.:o

I would say at least a 500 watt supply with a minimum of 30amps on the 12v rail. Here is the link for the wattage recommendations.

Really? What are you basing that one?

500 watts w/ 30amps?

By, ati's conservative ratings i could go crossfire with only 450watt.:)
Plus, seeing that my computer isn't that high-end, it doesn't require as much juice as those bigger cpus/mobos, so i would think that i could run this in my computer...

That just seems very conservative to me...

For one, I would rather use a supply that only using say 75 percent of its rating compared to say 90 percent all the time. Plus the extra wattage gives you room for upgradeability.

Well, thx for your imput, but ill think ill give it a shot, ive seen this card work on 350 watt psu's, so ill see if it will work out...:)
