I voted for either, you could either go with a GeForce 7800 GT or GTX or a Radeon x1600XT or 1800 Series and be fine for awhile. Either option is a fine choice. There is a card on both sides for every budget.

I find ATI to be much better, the x1900 series was made to compete with nVidia's 7800 series. ATI is also much cheaper, a 7800GTX 512MB costs around $750, while a x1900XT costs around $520. With a little overclocking the x1900XT outperforms the 7800GTX 512MB, and its much cheaper.maroon1 said:i disagree with u, 7800GTX was the best card for 6 months, while X1900 will be just the best card for 1 or 2 months, because nvidia is planing to release 7900 very soon.
in my opinion nVidia is better
no no, u made big mistake, the x1800 was made to compete with 7800, not x1900, and 7800 was released 6 months before x1800.geoff5093 said:I find ATI to be much better, the x1900 series was made to compete with nVidia's 7800 series. x1900 is suppose to compete with 7900.
