Hi
I need to replace my mobo.
I already have:
Athlon XP 3000+ barton (333fsb)
Ati Radeon 9800 pro 256
My question is...does my video card determine which brand of mobo chipset I'll get the best results with?

Thanx

No it does not. Sometimes people complain there ATi card isn't compatible with there nvidia designed chipset...bu i think thats bull. I use ATi on NF2 and never had probs...

By far and large, no although it DOES seem reasonable that running an nVidia video setup on an nVidia chipset would be benificial as far as driver optimizations go. Of course, any advantages and such are miniscule and for all intents and purposes, you'll be fine :)
