It really depends what you want to use that card for, if its just for movie viewing and not for gaming, then I would go for an inactively cooled graphics card because it will not contribute to the noise, however if you want to game with it, then I suggest you get an actively cooled graphics card because that way you can overclock abit using stock cooling.
Does XFX8600GT stays cool enuogh while gaming?Because I own C2D E6300 and its idle temp is 40*c which I think is little high.And in my opinion such temp is because of my case as it has only one exhaust fan(small) at back.So will this card stays cool enough to play latest games?
Yea, in that case, no fan becuase you could always get a heatsink
Well or Water-Cooled , just for fun(It's not safe thought if you don't set it up right because the liquid might leak and mess your comp up and other wierld cases too)
