Video Cardin'!! 2 or 1 ?

I was wondering, would it be better to get two Geforce 6600GT 's and run them together SLI - or spend about the same amount of $$$ for a 6800gt !?

Which would have best bonuses for gaming !?

I'd say for for a 6800GT, or Ultra if you REALLY want the performace... See, not all games can use SLI yet, and personally, I don't think it'll ever really take off untill the price goes down
 
also two 6600gt's will be close to the price of a 6800gt, and if you get the 6800gt then you'll have room for a future upgrade for another 6800gt, so get the 6800gt, ultra if you can afford it(add on around 100$ to the gt price)
 
yeah I'd go for the single 6800gt, then in the future you can upgrade by adding another. If you go with the 2 6600gts the only way to upgrade and have a dual card sli is to buy 2 whole new cards.

All the newest games (Doom 3, HL2, WoW, EQ2, Far Cry etc.) have seen significant improvments in game quality using SLI.
