Video cards, help please

I was wondering if I bought another pny nvidia gts 450, would I be able to have two in my rig, and what would I benefit from this, higher fps while playing games? Also I have dirt 3 which I bought of steam, but occasionally when I play it a box pops up asking me if I want to use a simple colour scheme for better performance or something like that. Anyway would two graphics cards help wi that?

Graphics card:: PNY Nvidia Geforce gts 450
CPU:: Intel i5 760
Mobo:: Asus P7P55D-E PRO
Ram:: Corsair Xms3 ddr3 2 2gb sticks
Psu:: corsair HX650W

2 video cards will give better performance that 1. They will give better frames per second though i think the recommended wattage is higher than your PSU puts out. You may need to check on that though, I could be wrong.
