On video cards listed what does the letters at the end mean. LE, GT, CS and others. What would be the differences between a 7900LE, 7900 GT and 7900CS?
Thank You;

7900CS? I have never heard of that. I have a 7900GT and as far as I know there is the 7900GS, 7900GT and 7900GTX, in order of performance. I don't know what it stands for but it denotes where each card is in the family. As a basic rule for nvidia cards GS is always less than GT and GTX is better than GT and GTS.

It gets really confusing at times, that's why you have to examine the fine specs.

The difference between GS, GT, GTX etc would be price and hence performance due to the different bandwidths and clockspeeds.

I've never heard of a 7900LE, but generally for Nvidia...

LE < Vanilla < GS < GT (GTS) < GTX < Ultra

So in your case, the LE would be the worst, then GS, GT and finally the best being the 7900GTX.

7900LE? I googled it and got 256MB PCI ExpressTM x16 Nvidia® GeForce 7900LE TurboCacheTM (DVI/VGA/S-Video).

Isn't turbocache only present on Budget or low end Nvidia cards? So is the 7900LE not even mid range? :confused:
