I am looking into buying a new video card for my laptop to play oblivion but I dont know where to start. Yes I am a noob at this so would I have to buy a special video card or can I buy any video card? Also is there any retail stores that would sell a video card in Canada for under 200 that would be able to play Oblivion decently?

Thankyou

Toshiba Pentium 4 - M 1.7ghz 512 mb Ram 420 Go Video Card etc. I was also wondering about the processor. Ive heard that if your computer is a pentium 4 m that means the processor is really equal to a lot more than it is. Properties of My computer displays it as a 1.7 ghz so is this true? Thanks.

you cant upgrade video cards in laptops

yes u can i know for a fact u can its just alot harder
You can upgrade laptop video cards, however you can only do it to certain models. In order to upgrade, you must have an nVidia MXM or similar ATI brand card (note ATI and nVidia cards cannot be mixed together).

I have a Nvidia Geforce4 420 go. So I was wondering can I just buy a normal video card and use it as an external by connecting it some way?

thats was lie a quadrupel post BTW. I have a radeon igp 340m AGP. Its like a little removable chip on the mobo. Is there any faster igp i could slap in the slot?
