video conversations!

Hiya, i have posted a form on this before but no one seemed to help me that much! i have got skype and msn. wen i do a video conversation after about 5 minutes the whole computer just freezes. i have a dual core processor 3.2Ghz, 2 Gig Ram. so its not like it is a slow compiter or anything! i had trouble with it on msn thats why i installed skype but it still does the same thing. would reformatting the computer be the best thing?

i think ur rite because i can have a audio conversationa and its fine, but as soon as i have my webcam on its gone lol! why is it doing this? what would be wrong with it?
