Video Crash

The only game I have installed on my pc atm is WoW, which I play all the time. Earlier I had a huge video error in mid-game, where my screen turned into a flannel shirt and a constant beep/error noise sounded (though I could still hear itunes playing in the background). I manually turned off my comp, then checked every plug on my cpu and monitor, opened my case and sprayed my video card for dust (it was long since time for that anyway), rebooted, and everything seemed fine until I booted wow up. The login screen was fine.. but the moment I hit enter game it crashed again. I was messing with my video settings a bit before all this happened, but I don't recall making any big changes. I hope this doesn't mean my video card is dying. Does anyone know what might be going on?

it could be overheating. it probably isn't that since you said it crashed right away but it is still a possibility. try monitoring the heat when you play. did you overclock at all? if so it could be an unstable oc.

i don't have very much experience with nvidia. does it have a control center with the temperature? if not you can use other things as well.

I found that my video card has a new driver available, and I downloaded it to my desk top, but I don't know anything about installing new drivers.. can anyone help me with this?
