Video Editing Question

I'm trying to do something probably really simple, but want to know if WMM is capable of doing it. I want to edit in a photoshop picture of text into a video clip, a clip of in-game footage of a game with Fraps, to be more precise.

I want the picture to be on a wall, and the character will move around, and then look at the wall where the picture will be. I just opened up a canvas with a transparent background, and added the text with the add-ons.


If I need something more powerful, I'll download the trial of Premiere CS4, assuming that's a suggestion.

So, you want text on the wall in a game?

WMM may do it, but I think it's pretty limited in what you can do, so it may not work.

I use Premiere CS3 Pro, works great. You're able to move clips, text and images around on a video, so you can position them where you want, and scale and rotate them. So, yeah, You'll be able to do it in that. Hope this helps.
 
WMM can do it but limited.

ATM I use final cut express which can do it great with resizing but key framing would something you need to use in a moving shot. But AE CS4/CS3 is brilliant for this as it provides A easier GUI key framing rather Than final cut. I haven't key framed though yet. With WMM I would imagine key framing would be every frame add a new piece of text and remember it can't do 3D

I'll work on it some more and try uploading it.


I just got to find a way to make the picture stay still in the frames I want it in, but I could just use a different video clip.
