I need a video editor that is easy too use and doesn't give me headaches. Ulead and Nero so far have given me headaches. Any reccommendations?

What will you be editing and do you have any experience in editing? there are the basic ones like movie maker and then they just progress. i started using imovie and then went straight to adobe premeire.
it just depends. let me know what you want to be edting and i'll see if i can find a good prog for ya!
but adobe is cool and after a couple of hours its really good. easy to use and really expensive but if it is just for basic editing just use movie maker!

I'll me maikng short movies. Adding scrolling titles and the such.
This will be fine
this should do it, im not sure if movie maker has the scroll down titles but if you are seriously going to get into this then it could be worth investing in some think like premeire or even avid. and will you be adding effects?

about the closet to effects I'll get will be transitions.
then movie maker will be fine. easy to use and free, what more could you ask for? 
but if you are looking to advance and you do a lot and its frequent then just choose adobe or a package like that. i think that you can get free trial versions of Avid express and if you like it then you can buy it! its all good!
