Video Editors

What do I need to do? Some video formats are not valid in some video editors. I tried to install codecs but still not valid. Thank you.

What video editors? Many Video Editors only save clips in certain formats, no matter what codecs you install...

What I mean is I cannot "import"

Okay... but still, some Video Editors don't recognize certain file formats (meaning you cant import not export), no matter what codecs you install. What Video Edting software do you use?
