I want to play movies recorded on a xp media center (224GB on high quality) on a tv. I will also use the card for gaming. I am going to use pci express, with (I only want to do this one time in mind), which specs are most important? Which output connections will give the best picture? Any suggestions are appreciated.(card, Store, specs recommended, or anything) thanks

what's your budget? I guess you can look at pixel pipelines in a graphics card and get a general idea of its performance, though there are many other things.

If you want a selection, look for different Nvidia GeForce cards or ATI Radeon cards that fit your budget.

If you want a card for gaming and entertainment(videos), maby look into the all in wonder

its a bit expensive.

or look at the Radeon X1600, X1800, or X1900 (if you cant tell, I like ati a bit better)
They have a preety good price range, but should still be good. If your looking for like under $150 there is an X1300.
I guess the equivilent would be like the GeForce 7600, 7800, and 7900.

Up to you I guess.

Budget really helps. Go with a 1900XT if you want to spend some money. Also what interface do you have? AGP? PCI? PCI-E?

The more I read the harder this gets. Does this card replace the card in the pc completly? Only has video in, no out. I'm going to use pci express. Is the All-in-Wonder® X1900 the best and is it have extras vs others? Thanks again
