Hello folks, I am going to try to make this short and to the point. I have a Gateway computer that I purchased as a refurbished model. This computer has one of those built in video cards, not in a separate slot. I also have a USB M-Audio Fast Track Pro that I use as my audio interface to record my guitar and play music, movies and stuff. This M-Audio unit is hooked up to my powered speakers. The problem I have is that on "video" events I hear clicks and noises through my audio interface. Even when I move the mouse I hear these noises.
Doing some research I found out that this is a fairly common problem for these interfaces. One of the solutions is to go into the video management tool in Windows 7 and slow down the hardware acceleration. My problem is that when I try to go to the options my video card (Intel) has its own management software that does not have the option to adjust the hardware acceleration settings.
What are my options? Can I bypass the Intel software and use the Windows options instead? Am I better off buying another video card (recommendations?) that can be of better quality and adjustable?
