Video help

I have an ECS Motherboar
Model
A780GM A

And it has an Onboard Video Output HDMi and I am just juseing that no other Video Card is Installed in my system.

When I go into BIOS I go into the Option Advanced Chipset Setup.
And I can Enable or Disable Shared Memory.

If I Disable Shared Memory it will use what ever the Default amont of Video RAM it wants.

So I pick Enable Shared Memory and then I can pick from a list of Memory Sizes so I pick 64 MB because I do no Gaming or anything like this.

So I F10 and save and exit.

Now when I am back at desktop I go into Display and then Settings and then Advanced.
At the top of this window I pick the ADAPTER Tab
and it tells me my Video Adapter and things like this.

It says Video Size 700 MB

What is going on?????

wow did you get that figured out yet?

If you havent let me know

if you go to your device manager you will know if another video card is installed, but you could always just look at the back of the tower... what is your ultimate goal here?

thanks but

I am just useing Onboard HDMi Video output I have no other video card installed.

why in display under settings and advanced and Adapters it says Memory Size for my video 700 MB???

I set it to 64 MB in BIOS???????????????

windows uses some memory for video. when i go to Can You Run It? it lists my GPU as having 1.2gb of memory but it only has 512mb.
