video help

I use Format Factory to convert my VOB files I got from DVDs I own to MP4.

And it lets me pick the option to Interlace or Prograsive Scan. So I pick Prograsive Scan.

Now for some VOB Files Format Factory wont work so I use Super Video Converter and it lets me convert to MP4.

But it does not have an option for Interlace or Prograsive Scan.

So I would like to know if anyone uses it and can tell me when it converts files is it going to convert them and render them as Prograsive Scan videos?

If you are converting a DVD, the best applications import the entire video, not the individual VOB files. I use TMPGEnc4XP (payware). You can import an individual video to convert or an entire DVD (you point to the folder or disk). If you import the entire DVD you can still select the parts (and parts of parts!) you want in the output video (lose the bits with your mother-in-law). That is the sort of application you should be using. DVDFab that Jamesd1981 mentioned may be better for doing the entire DVD (the actual video, no menus). I don't know how detailed it can get into the editing.

no robert download dvd fab 8.7.0.3

install it, when you start it the top lot are all trials, but the bottom one is never expire its unlimited free, just pick your source file and output destination, and make sure you change quality to 100% if you want the best result

DVD fab is good to convert entire DVD, and same as Nano, I use iFunia DVD ripper which can import an individual video to convert or an entire DVD, and have the deinterlace option.
