Video input

hi all,

I'm trying to connect my playstation 2 to my pc using the Cinch cable IN-ports of my TV tuner card. The problem is that my computer doesn't show in any way that he 'recognizes' the playstation. I tried all the programs that came with my pc (powercinema for example), and some general tv tuner card software, but i have never seen any image that came from my ps2.

What software can recognize this kind of input??? Or what drivers etc...

My computer is a pentium 4, 1GB RAM, 3,2Ghz, etc (= not an old computer, so i can run any software needed)

In any of the sofwtare that came with the Card. Put it to Channel 3 or 4. And turn the Ps2 on.

Think of it as a regular tv.

Your computer won't "reconize" anything on the TV Tuner. It doesn't realize when something's connected or not, it just works. Assuming you have loaded everything(drivers and software) for the card, just open the program. Somewhere within the program, you should be able to select your input method. This will be probably composite(those yellow, white, and red cables). You'll probably also have the options of Svideo(black port that resembles those of your mouse and keyboard ports) and tuner.

You didn't state what you where using, but I assume you use the composite cables that came with your PS2. Just select the correct input and it should show up.
