I have an E-Machine mini tower that had a bad power supply. I replaced the power supply and she powers up fine but without video.

Whhere should I look next? I did a visual check of the board and everything seems ok. No blown capacitors.

Thanks for any help in advance

When you say it boots fine, does the hard drive light flicker as it's suppose to, do you hear the windows startup sound, and all? If the fans are going but nothing else happens, that PSU you have isn't compatable with the system, or you have other hardware problems.

I hate to have to ask the stupid questions- but are you getting power to your monitor? Are the cables plugged in?? Im sure you checked all of that but someones gotta ask i guess :P Is it an on-board card or an regular? If it is a add-in card and you had an on-board, mabye the BIOS settings have been changed?? Do you have a known good-card? Have you tried it??

Good Luck!!!

i'm going to have to agree, try a video card you know is good, your other card could have been damaged when your power supply went bad...

just a black screen? what color is the light on your screen? if amber or orange, try seeing if the RAM properly seated.
