Video Lagg

Make sure your drivers are installed and updated, because my ATI card did the same thing before the drivers were installed.

Not just that, what settings are you attempting to play that game at ... certainly not past 800x600 @ medium quality -- if that even, i'd suggest 640x480 @ low-medium

check your latency in the game. It could be your internet connection and not your computer. counter strike ran like crap at home I think I was to far away from my wireless acess point. At school with a T3 connection counterstrike runs perfectly. in the console type net_graph 3 if your frames per secound is below let say 60 it your computer. If it that you getting lots of chokes and high latency(over 100) it more likly your internet connection.

If this is just ("Counter-Strike") with 9200 you can jack it to 1024X768....well I can anyway and it runs smooth but if it's ("Counter-Strike:Source") or ("Counter-Strike Condition Zero") well then Praetor is right :)

Yes but do you know a lot about spelling? How about grammar and coherence? ;)

Seriously though, "play on my comp fine with settings jacked up" means absolutely crap all to anyone since we dont know what "jacked up" and "my comp" entail. Furthermore, credibility is diminished by the comment about catalyst...
