Video/Music Problems

For some reason music and video files have stopped working when I stream them over the internet. I use WMP and they just sit there with the play button but I click it and nothing happens. When I get something that says buffering it just stays that way and never completes. Any suggestions? Thanks

Good question. We're talkin' any video/music file. Itty bitty clips to full blown movie trailers - they all don't work. They used too. Makes me think some miniscule change was made inadvertantly at one point or another. The internet connection is high speed through Adelphia. At times it tends to get bogged down due to them basically having a monopoly over this area. The speed or time of day makes no difference however. I'm pretty sure it's some setting on my system. Thanks.

Have you tried checking your proxy settings? It's in options and the network tab. If you aren't sure what your settings should be, click configure and then automatically detect proxy settings. Also, it could be your internet security software if you have any. It could be blocking you from connecting. Hope this helps.
