Video problem on older laptop

Hey, i got a couple of laptops for free and they are IBM T21's its got a pentium III lol but one doesnt turn on and w/e

well the one that works has sometihng wrong with the video there are lines on the screen but they move so i think its the videocard

i cant find drivers unless im just a retard but the videocard is a S3 savage IX and its 8mb,

is there a VGA port on the back of the laptop with the lines on the screen? If so I would recommend trying a desktop monitor on it, just to see if it's just the screen.

yeah there is ill try that right now

EDIT*** tried it and it looked perfect on my monitor... so i guess i will try the part laptop's screen on this one and it might work but im nervous

?????????? the only way to in is to pop out the keyboard right???????

here is the service manual,,, i think

go down to the part that says multipart
there is a " 0 " and a " 1 "

you have to click each , it is a 2 parter. sometimes you have to double click
then a pop up window, save part to a floder then when you have both parts unzip
