Hi I was wondering what program I could use to record full quality video from my computer. As in like a screenshot in a game but a video at a decent fps. Thanks all advice would help.

For grabbing short video clips from pc games a freeware called "Fraps" is popular. But this will depend on the type of video you are trying to record and to what it is recorded to or on.
 
The one thing offhand for something like this could be the use of the S-Video output from your video card into an external recording device like a chs system with the S-Video input or use of an inline signal converter for RCA or 75ohm. cable. With an external digital recorder it would be in mpeg II, avi, or another format. Some non pc dvd recorders will record live to disk.
 
Free to try anyways if you like seeing a counter included in the clip. :( Sometimes I forget if they are freeware or shareware from going through too many. :P
