Video Size

Hello. I have quite a few videos on my computer. I was wondering if there is a way I can compress them into a different file type so they don't take up so much space. I have searched but was not able to find the answers I was looking for. Thanks for any help!

Well generaly .Mp4 is the smallest video format. And there are loads of programs out there for compressing video...its just most of them cost money.
However i did find this one:

Cool thank you! One of things I was wanting to do was convert files so I can put them on my cell phone. I believe mp4 is one of the compatible file types. Also, can I still watch the videos on my computer in that format? Thanks again!

to convert to the cell try useing super video convertrer, google it

Ok so I tried converting a video, after it transferred, I'm not able to find where it put the new file lol. Any ideas?

Are you useing Super? If so right click in the super window and about half way down the popup list should be... "Specify The Output Folder Destination"
