Videos freezing :/ Help

Every now and then when i watch videos they start freezing every now and then. The sound and video judders then comes back on, when it does that i can't even move the cursor. I'm wondering what this could be down to... It happened for a while with games when i first loaded them but if i actually got ingame it would be fine, pretty sure that's fixed now but the video problem is still there.

When i got the new PC i uninstalled the graphics drivers on it and installed the ones straight from nVidia site. Specs are in sig.

It's defffinately not down to overheating, can anyone help?
 
Is anything going on in the background, out of the ordinary? I found that running Utorrent and downloading any type of large file, would result in the same problem, every 30-60 seconds any videos or games would stutter for just a couple seconds.
