Videos won't play in Opera or FF, but play in Chrome

No video posted on Twitter will play for me in Opera or FF, but it does play in Chrome. Also when I try to stream a radio station in O or F it won't, but in Chrome it plays.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

For whatever its worth, in Opera, when I go to the Youtube page that shows which formats my browser supports there's a ! next to H.264 and MSE & H.264, everything else is good.

So my first question would be when you go to the video and you right click on the video at the bottom of the properties does it say "About HTML5 Player"?

In FFox I use an add on that forces the use of Flash player, at the moment, for I know not what reasons, its inactive, so, yes, it says that.

Same thing in Opera and Chrome.

Have you uninstalled them and then blow away the configuration files out of C. Blowing them out of C is important as if there are misconfiguration at that point they will continue to replicate. Have you ruled out possible computer infection?

Uninstalled the browsers? I'd really want to avoid having to reinstall things.

So according to what the html5 page on YT says I should be able to play them?

Re: infection, yes, I've scanned the computer using NOD and Malwarebytes AM.
