Yesterday I had to drop some stuff off at the goodwill. In the back not even on the floor yet I saw what looked like a brand new 17in monitor. So I went and took a closer look, low and behold it was a ViewSonic PF775. I knew very quickly that this monitor retails at about $300 so I calmly asked the lady helping us unload our stuff how much she would part with it for, this is the best part, she said $3.99. I about crapped myself and quickly went looking it all over checking for burn marks or signs that it had been dropped but it looks like it was never used. The only problem was that it didnt come with a power cord. Well I bought it thinking that even if for some reason it didnt work $3.99 is cheap enough to find out. We went and bought a used power cord for 3 more dollars, got home and voilia the best picture I have ever seen. I did a little research and found that this monitor uses something called trueflat technology and is used to provide superior picture quality over most brands.
What a steal huh? My advice is always check your local goodwills.
