Viewsonic vs Hyundai

performance and looks wise i'd say the Hyundai is the way to go. price wise its the Viewsonic, but it really only $20 difference. i'd say to go with the Hyundai

I did'nt really look into your links, but from your post (merely identical).. I would say I'd shell out that extra for the Viewsonic.

Viewsonic to me seems like a better brand over Hyundai. Don't they make cars? But anyways, I would prefer Viewsonic over Hyundai just because I know that they have been making monitors for quite a while.

Yea, I have used Viewsonic products and been very happy. I have heard their name many times before. They seem like the better company just from experience, I would pay the extra cash.

I would go with the Hyundai cause it has a 700:1 contrast ratio and the viewsonic has a 500:1 contrast ratio and to me the Hyandai looks like a overall better monitor.

Viewsonic does have a great reputation, and I have a Viewsonic 19" LCD and a 19" CRT. But I would say go with the Hyundai. The stand on the Viewsonic is flimsy, and the contrast ratio is not as good as the Hyundai.

I vote ViewSonic. Great reputation, great images.

Do you people even look at the links and look at the specs or you blindly follow a name brand around when obviously the hyndai is better it has a better contrast ratio and as bobo said it has a flimsy stand.

I look at links and make a personal decision based on presented evidence, sir. The ViewSonic has more adjustment capability, does not need a wall-wart for power, specifies an actual warranty, and has built-in speakers. I also speak from personal ViewSonic ownership experience, and reading of reviews, repair information, and reputation. "Better" is a matter of opinion. I therefore recommend the ViewSonic. However, since both of these monitors are available at the local Office Depot, the best way to decide which monitor is better is for Bratton to look at the images on their screens in person.

I didn't get to know what I know by being a fanboy.
