The vx922 and the vx2025 have different vitals and im unsure which 1 is actually better. I like the vx2025 because of its wide screen features. Do you think the difference between the 2 is large? I mean besides the fact that one is wide screen.

I usually stay away from wide screen displays as not all games support widescreen perfectly, and they usually don't have too good response times. But the VX2025wm seems nice. Good contrast ratio and response time which is the minimum on monitors when it comes down to gaming and watching movies.

Yea thats kind of what I wanted to hear about. I fell behind the times when it comes to monitor technology. I know zilch about LCD's. Thanks for the feed back.. I noticed the response rate is higher on the wide screen but I also heard 8ms is not too bad.

Edit:
I know the lower the number the better the response time but how does contrast ratios work?. The widescreen is 800:1 and the normal is 600:1.

The 8ms is considered the minimum, and isn't a bad response time at all, when using the computer for games and movies.

The contrast ratio should be as high as possible, some monitors have 1000:1. But some monitors might actually have a lower value in real life, so get one with a contrast ratio over 500:1, atleast. Some HDTV's have a contrast ratio of 10000:1, but they are very expensive and quite rare.
