Vigor vs. Cyberpower vs. iBuyPower

Well I am looking at all of these sites with a friend and I want to pick out which is the best with him. It seems like there are WAY more bad reviews than good for both CyberPowerpc.com and ibuypower.com, while there are shinning reviews for Vigorgaming.com

However, vigor gaming has only been around for 4 years....

has anyone had experience with these companies or similar ones? Thanks for all your input!

yeah, they are all OK. cyberpower PC is very difficult to deal with if there is something wrong with your computer. they do everything in their power to not replace things under warranty, but their worksmanship is good.

there is, however, no subsitute for building it yourself

Havent had any experience with the other two companies, but ibuypower was okay, their prices are fairly resonable, technical support wasnt really too good and most of their computer cases i dont like :P but overall their not bad. I would also recommend you trying out toriyacomputers.com or if your just looking for a cheap system and dont need technical support, a dell :P.

but if you have the time, i highly suggest building your own =)

iBuyPower is the best out of the three. They Actually do have pretty decent customer service compared to the other ones. Also, if they don't have a part in stock they will replace it with one that is better (at least I have heard from people with experience with them).

i have a computer from Cyberpower PC. Their performance at customer service is near the low end of the spectrum but their prices are good. They only charge ~$150 more than what you would pay if you bought all the parts yourself. Also you can have them to blame. Their assembly is good but they sent me the wrong mobo but since it was comparable i shrugged it off. If i ever have a problem im gonna call back about how i got the wrong mobo. Still it worked but with all 3 sites, proceed with caution.

but really if you're not going for a computer thats greater than low-mid range then stick with the big name companies like Dell and HP. YOU MUST because they are pretty much the best. Their only problem is with overpricing things past low-mid range. ( 8800gt = 400$ extra! q6600 over e5400 699$ price hike , yikes)

you can say that again!

quick question: is it really worth the upgrade to go from dual nvidia 8800 gt 512 to dual 9800 512s?

they are significantly more expensive on newegg and elsewhere, and I was wounding how worth it can it be?
