VIP status GTA V PC

Hey guys,

I've read that you can get the VIP status through the securoserv app in GTA V but I don't have the option to. You need at leat 1 million $ which I have but still, no option to become VIP. Any idea?
 
Found the issue: I was going through the cellphone app instead of the interaction menu which I didn't know existed :P

I use that pretty much all the time. Whenever you have an objective it will make it so you can set a waypoint through that menu. Also can be used to set waypoints to your apartments and closest ammunations, mod shops, etc.
