Virtual Chalkboard

Does anyone know of an application or a online web page that has something close to a virtual chalkboard?

for example, a friend and i are working on physics and I want to be able to draw something and have him see it on his computer at his home?
Possible?

took way too long... editing formulas for physics takes forever
