Virtual drive

I have Nero 5 on my pc which runs smoothly.but the image drive in the cd "has not passed compatibility test and hence installing it can haper the system".will continuing with the installtion actully hamper the sys?can anyone suggest a compatible virtual drive software.
 
Virtual clone drive from Elby i think it is. anyway thy're tha ones who made clone cd
(oh and also Daemon Tools is a good one, not sure about .nrg compatability for either though)

one of my friends has installed the image drive ignoring the warning and his system is ok.but he noticed that the log of windows error shows an error relating to the drive after every few sec.could this be the prob for the slowing down of system or can it be ignored. btw thanks for the suggestions will try out the things mentioned.
