Virtual Memory

I have a music cd that has videos and other media on it, but when I put it in my computer it says that I need to have 3MB of virtual memory running. What do I do to check or change the amount of virtual memory I currently have running?

Are you running Windows XP? If so, then press CTRL+ALT+DEL, go to the "performance" tab, and tell us what it says under "Commit Charge (K)" .

Under "Commit Charge" it says:
Total 264228
Limit 2517788
Peak 671908

But the total number constantly changes, but that is about where it always is.
