well im messing around with something and then testing it with virtual pc 2007 and need to be able to boot from an iso file.

the iso will boot when actaully burnt to a disk, but i dont want to waste disks.

i have daemon tools running and have set vpc to use the virtual drive. but it still wont boot.

any ideas about how i can do this?

Then probably there's something wrong with the settings of deamon tools, do you have nero ? try with it, am pretty sure it will work
 
you can boot to iso from there... well if i remember correctly i will edit it in in 5 min

yep you can. just start the vm and go to cd and hit capture iso

ok i managed to make the disk bootable so it would work. but now it does this :
